So I walk into a Harley dealership to buy the Saggy Bags kit for my 2012 Heritage Softail Classic. As I'm walking around looking at all of the used baggers they have, checking prices and such, a salesman comes up and starts talking. He asked if I was interested in trading up, and what I might be looking to move up to. Then he gives me that grin all sales people get when they are getting ready to set the hook, and says " What if I could put you on a brand new bike for the same price as some of these used bikes?" Ended up getting a good deal on my Heritage and rode home on a new 2014 Ultra Limited. This my first bagger and I couldn't be happier. The Wife loves it ,a lot more comfortable for her.

 

Congratulations on the new bike. But you do know we will need to see some pictures. its funny when we walk into a dealer for add ons or parts, and a sales man can make us spend thousands more then we had planed. I traded my 13FLHTC for my 14, my buddies thought I was nuts, I didn't plane on it when I walked into the dealer, you know it just happenes. lol

Yep! Got talked into a test ride on a 14 limited while getting a new front tire on my 12 Ultra. A week later and i'm the new owner of a 14 Ultra Limited. It did take one more test ride tho.

 

I love my Heritage, but the wife does not love the rear seat. That is why we have the Limited. Two bikes, best of both worlds. Congrats on your new bike.

 

I went in for a bottle of S100 and went out with a 2014 Limited. Funny how that works.

 

My new '14 Ultra Limited... Black Betty.. and she is Sweeeet!

 

I looked at a used limited and ended up leaving with a new ultra for the same monthly payment... although extended for a year. The finance guy was the one that convinced me, couldn't be happier with the decision.

i go to the Car parts store, and use spray on tire foam to blacken my engine now, saves me buying a new bike every the motor gets crusty looking!
