Default oil funnel

Which oil filter funnel works better for draining/removing filter, the Harley one (with a little hose) or the Ernst orange funnel with a slight angled spout ? Will use with a '04 Road King. Thanks.

I've not had luck with any of the funnels, soda bottles, or the other tricks people have used. Oil always seems to end up on the engine.

I use a PCS4C permanent filter and I remove and clean it with the bike cold on a J&S lift; the oil when cold is drawn back from the billet housing and I can remove the filter and clean it without dropping contaminated oil on the engine or in my case, the front isolator.

I've ordered a DK Custom oil filter relocation kit; waiting on the tracking number, I'll post up images in the Dyna forum when I get it installed. I've found no trick beyond relocating the oil filter is an acceptable answer.

I`m interested in the DK Relo unit also but will let TinCup be the guinea pig. I have had very good luck with the form a funnel.

I cut the plastic 2 liter soda bottle up and place under the filter. As long as I break the filter loose before and keep the bottle tipped I might lose a couple of table spoons of oil. I also shove some paper towels under the filter before too. Not worth it for me to buy another accessory.

I took a 12 pack of soda, and cut the top off and lined it with aluminum foil. Worked perfect. Tried the soda bottle, but still got oil all over.

Tin foil or cling wrap. Cheap, easy, and you stick it under the filter before loosening it.

I cram paper towels everywhere I can under the filter, then use the Harley orange thingy.... not a drop spilled.

I also have/love the big flat HD drain pan, tho it's pretty ridiculously priced.
