97 FLHR - I need to replace the shifter shaft bushings. I really don't want to remove the inner primary for this. Is the bore through the primary the same all the way through. Not enough room to press inner bushing in, so I was thinking of cutting it both out, cooling (like valve guides) and pressing/driving from the outside. Is this possible and has anyone done it?
