anyone out there know of a trick or two on how to remove the shifter shaft bushings from the inner primary cover without removing the inner primary? thanks for a reply
The smaller end of the tool on the right goes into the outer bushing, then you use a hammer to drive them both out through the back side where the shift shaft passes through. Then you use the other tool with one bushing staged outside each side of the shaft pass-through channel and using a wrench and an Allen socket, you press them in. Recommend greasing the outside of each new bushing prior to pressing them in. Available on Amazon and other online sources for around $50 USD.
