Bdl 3inch question
80 inch evo motor in a rigid frame
When I hit traffic and I am clutching and going the thing starts to stick. Like its stuck in gear. If I shut the bike off it starts back up fine unless I hit traffic again (stop and go). When I am not hitting traffic it has been working fine and shifting fine. I know it's a dry clutch but I don't think it's getting overheated as I am not in traffic long. Any suggestions. I am going to re adjust the clutch but I don't believe that's the problem. Could it be time for a new clutch pack
Thanks in advance fellas

I have a 16 yr old BDL clutch that did the same thing when new. The clutch was dragging and I had a real time getting neutral. Some of the springs in the pressure plate had walked up in their recess causing unequal pressure and a wobble in the plate. I removed some material at the base to allow the springs to seat fully. I've also made a dozen runs on the 1/8 mile and it functioned perfectly. The engagement is smooth without slippage. It rattles a little with the clutch in but I couldn't ask any more out of any clutch.
