I bought a chrome trans cover on. Ebay it has a set of ramps and ***** that say 21deg. My old set say 18 deg. Does anyone know why they would be different?
The 18 or 21-degree is the incline of the ramps. The 18-degree ramp has less incline and is easier to pull. The distance that the ramp assembly moves or spreads apart is also less. The 21-degree ramps are harder to pull, but spread apart farther, which will more fully disengage the clutch. The ideal combination is an “Easy Clutch” with the 21-degree ramps.
