Default New clutch lever

Help! just replacesd the clutch lever on my 2007 street glide. everything works great but there is a 'clicking' sound everytime i release the clutch. also seems just a little bit sloppy, not tension but on up and down movement.
Any ideas??

I think he means floppy in the perch. A vertical slop. Not sure how to fix that.

There's a spring clip that gets riveted to the lever to take up the slop in the handlebar bracket. Not sure if a new lever comes with or without that clip but if it isn't there, that would certainly cause a sloppy lever.
