Hello my name is mathew I have a 1978 Harley Davidson Electra glide shovel head. I work on cars not to familiar with motorcycles. Bike runs good the only problem is that I painted my clutch and brake leavers some how couldn't get the clutch cable back adjusted. I adjusted the clutch several times rode about 5 minutes down the road and it was back lose. I've come to the conclusion that I have oil in my clutch cover I googled this and I believe I have a leak from my transmission and its leaking into my clutch. My problem is I'm not quite sure where to start I don't know if the clutch has to go back into place the exact same way what screws to undo or how do I even get to the leak the harley shop around here is no help they don't even know I would sure apriciate if someone out there can give me some instructions on how to go about this I'm a knew rider and would love to be able to ride soon thanks
