I was wondering if anybody had the Baker 7th gear added over the summer? The were installing at most of the major rallies, but at $3100 I just can't see it!

 

I can't see ever wanting or needing a 7'th gear, especially not at that price. I would be interested to hear some reviews though.

 

By rights, a big, broad-torque engine does not need a multi-multi speed gearbox like the kneescrapers need to keep the rpm's in the intended power range they require to rip.
We have installed those 7 speeds, in of all things, 124"ers for clients upon request and they are very well manufactured.
