You say you don`t have much money, so...
The best transmission you can afford is already in the bike.
Most aftermarket transmissions have splined mainshafts, and are designed to fit `90 and later bikes.
Your `89 has a tapered mainshaft, so in order to use a transmission with a splined mainshaft, you would have to replace the clutch with a `90 or later clutch configuration.
