Cali to Jacks Beach FL then to Springfield Mo then back to Cali
Looking for road trippers to join in on a Cali to FLA to Mo back to Cali ride mid June. Leaving OC June 20 to Jacks Beach Fla. Spending 2-3 days then heading to Mo spending 4-5 days then heading back to Cali. No rush taking time to check stuff out and enjoy the ride.
Haha, is that place still open? That was always a place to send people who didn't know better as a gag.
Yes it is still open, I think....I see cars around it when I go to Mangos across from the pier.

I used to cruise 1st Street back in the 90's, before relocating to Colorado in 99, and there was always people at Bo's. I think the high school kids a scavenger hunt where one of the items was a matchbook from Bo's. Not sure if that is urban legend or if that really was something they did.
About any road east and west through Missouri on the south side is worth the trip. Route 160 used to be a blast but has been straightened out some over the years. You can cruise into Arkansas and take 23 back up through Northern Ar and into southern Missouri. Just about every road between I 40 and I 44 is an adventure if you stay off the interstates...
My daughter and I rode from San Diego to Jacksonville Beach last month on a 50CC Quest. I think you'll have a great time. It was great to get off the super slab on the way back and meander through Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Texas. Enjoy some time in Colorado and Utah on your way back. Those states have some outstanding motorcycle roads.
