Jacksonville ride again
I'm so lucky, my work pays me mileage to take a class, so last week I got to ride my Jazzy Belle to Jacksonville for a class, Sunday the 14th I rode east along US 90, then down south from Bonifay FL along FL 79 to Panama City Beach, saw a bunch of bikes heading north from PCB from Thunder Beach on the way down to PC Beach down FL 79, sadly there was a wreck south of Vernon FL involving a biker, didn't look like they survived, prayers for them. Down southeast from PCB to Apalachicola along the gulf. Mexico Beach, St Joe, couple other towns, then up to Tallahassee, the ride along the coast is right on the edge of the water, if you go off the road to the right you will be in deep doo doo water LOL.
Oh, and while I was in Jax, I rode down towards St Augustine along A1A, it wasn't very scenic as the dunes blocked the view of the ocean/surf, so I stopped at a beach parking lot and went out to the beach and picked up a few sea shells, Rode back up north through the high rent district of Ponte Verdre Beach, wow some people sure have a lot of money to live on the ocean, too bad it's not anywhere near as nice as the Emerald Coast here along the NW LF coast, sorry for your waste of big bucks.
