Talimena Trail and spend at least one night at Queen Wilhelmina Lodge up on the top of the Trail. Lots of riders stay there.

I could probably join you boys if you need another.. Talimena's a good ride and just a scoot down the road..

Here's a route. 285 miles. Rode this last fall.

Probably take the Indian Highway in OK off the trip. Pavement is really bad north of Honobia, OK.

US259 up to the Talimena is pretty nice, too, after you get north of Hochatown.

The area between Broken Bow and Hochatown has a lot of tourist traffic on the weekends.

There are quite a few roads in North TX that are pretty good - rolling hills, a few curves to take a little quicker than the warning signs and very little traffic on those roads. Also a few pretty good places to eat.

Be glad to take you on a tour of North TX. We would hit some of it on the way to the Talimena, too.

Tuesday a bud and me took the backroads north from Wylie up through Princeton, Culleoka, Altoga, ghost town of Valdasta and on to Blue Ridge. About an hour each way. No traffic at all and the road sides are pretty this time of year. Going back to visit Big Slick's at Westminster this weekend.
