Thanks, I've bookmarked your links. BTW some of my favorite roads to ride are the small un-lined roads in SW PA. I mean right *at* the SW corner of PA, bordering WV and almost Ohio. Most won't be on the state map 'cause they're county roads.

Seeing as how I do this blog for Pa-Mag, it is Pa-centric, however - many of my most favorite times on two wheels have been in WV ! Some favorites that come to mind:

US 250
US 33
US 50
WV 39
WV 28
WV 20
etc etc

 

Ya'll ever get down in the southern part of WV, look me up. I'll show you some great rides down here. Rode WV16 couple of weeks ago into VA. Makes the Dragon look like a kiddie ride at the fair.

 

Brad good to see an old face, got quite a few tips from ya in the past, and some advice on how you had your old bike set up on another fourm. Welcome to the fourm, I made it over about 2 years ago.

 

You definitely are blessed to be in even MORE target rich environment than Pa for plentiful roads that were seemingly tailor made for motorcycle riding! I havent tackled WV16 (yet) but have enjoyed riding on the following great WV roads:

US 250
US 33
US 50

WV 39
WV 15
WV 28
WV 66
WV 150
WV 20

I have used the town of Elkins as a overnight basecamp several times and look forward to going back! Next time I do - want to stay at that fancy Victorian place on the campus of Davis&Elkins college...
