I am restoring a 1977 superglide. For the front wheel it is a spoked 2.50 X 19 rim. All the tire sites say I need a 90/90 or MJ/90. I want to get the Continental RB2 3.25 X 19. anyone think it will work or will it hit the fender. What tires are anyone using on a restoration of this year bike.
normally a 90 90 is the only way with FX or sportys - some not all 100 90 will fit, i have a 75 FX in the shop mag wheels i will look see what he put on it
its the fender the side of the tire that hits at the bolts
I have always run the 90/90 or in the old days a 3.25 on my 81 Superglide with factory mags. The 100/100 will fit but looks a little too fat on the narrow glide.
