Is there any other options I have to fit a bigger tire on my front wheel (21x2.15)??? I thought i could go with a 120/70 21, but found out that it wontfit my wheel. A 90/90 21 wont cut it either. Need a bigger tire to fill the fender. I may have to move up to a 21x3.25 in order to run a bigger tire, but I really dont want to if there is another way. Any suggestions?? Thanks.
Hi ttlpakg, i went into all this with my new wheels that should be here tomorrow, i have gone for a 21x2.5 with a 90 90. your only option is the 3.25 and 120x70. not only will this look wicked it will transform your handling. big wheels for big train!
Yeah, I was hoping to keep my 2.15. Well, I guess I have to take the plunge and get the bigger size. You are right though, it will look a lot nicer. Thanks.

Felix I've racked up over 25,000 miles on 90/90 21's on 2 different 2.15 wheels with no problems. Doesn't get that 120 feel but it's a whole chitload better than stock. Go for it.That's a 2.15 wheel with a 90/90
javieret,
thanks. the rear wheel size is 18x8.5 and the rear fender is from "heartland". I purchased the 250 kit from them and got it as a package deal.
Go for the 120 70 on a 3.25 you will only have to do it later! The only reason i'am not is because i could not get the wheel in the size that i chose, you can and it will transform the way your bike corners
Wow, i cant believe something so simple is messin' me up. i just want to go with a tire that will fill the fender. i wonder if it would help if i put the tires side by side... is there that much of a difference???
Hi TP, The 120 70 is muuuuuch larger than the 90 90, go to a store n put them side by side plus like i 'am telling you the profile of the 120 70 will work with your wide rear tyre, better feel on the front brake and will improve the turn in on corners. Hell its called improvement!
