Hi,

I'm looking for a ignition point eliminator for a 69 shovel.This engine has the distributor. I need something that is economical to do. Any suggestions are welcomed.

The make electronic conversions but they are not cheap. One type is pick up unit that fits on the stock base and another is a complete replacement. You can see what they look like in the V-twin catalog http://www.vtwinmfg.com/Catalog1/VTwinCatalogIndex1.htm pages 620-622. I've had good luck with my 68 with the stock points and condensor. First kick starts hot or cold.
