Default Valve guides

Do shovels normally smoke a little when you back off the throttle? Last season I put new valve guide seals in and checked the guides (good) and now this season I'm getting a little smoke when decelerating. Normal?

Nope, not normal. My Shovel never had seals on the valves, and never smoked until the guides were worn. Broke my heart doing the first top end at about 125,000 miles!
