Hello, I will be changing out my stock bars and all cables too the HD Tall bars with new longer cables and extensions.Im going to use the stock risers as well. Im just asking for any tips to make my job easier and to learn from others how they did this swap out. i also have a detachable Minnesota Fats windshield installed. Did anybody have to relocate their speedo? Did You have to buy a new bracket to hold the hanldlebar in? Any and all advice and tips are welcome. I have average mechanical skills and I do have the 07 Sporty service manual. Thank you in advance for your help

 

Internal wiring?

 

No internal wiring Harley Scuba.

 

I don't have the same setup as you. But I did put taller bars and risers on mine. I assume the job is basically the same. My only advice is test all wiring before putting it all back together! I finished the job only to find out I had crossed up some wires somewhere. I don't remember what now. Something like the high beams actuated the left turn signal or something. Had to tear it all back down and redo it. Other than that, it is really pretty easy to extend the wiring and install longer cables.
