Default LRS rear sprocket

On the Low Rider S does anybody know what the largest rear sprocket available that can be used without having to go to a longer belt?

I've looked around the forum and didn't see any thread specific to largest.

I don't think its specific to the S, maybe that'll help your search. I know that switching to 30T belt sprocket on front helps a bunch. I believe those are for trikes.

I think the 70t on dynas is the biggest you can get but I'm not 100%. A 30t up front will help with acceleration.

Thanks Guys! Great help here.

Now thinking in another area that may be a little less expensive to do: what about changing out the front Compensator Sprocket. I see kits with chain for under $250.00.

What issues of situations could or would there be by doing this?

You wouldn't be changing the compensator bubba. You'd have to remove it to do a chain conversion, but it would get reinstalled. Going off that, lemme ask you this: what is your intentions (riding style) for this bike? You might be better served looking into other mods to boost power.

Switching to 30t/68t pulleys was one of the best bang for the buck mods I've done. Not just improved acceleration, but just better gear ratios in every gear.

I'm running the stock belt. I started a fairly extensive thread a year or so ago on the subject. Tons of great info there.

Yes I would, Evolution has kits (example EV:1012-1251) that changes the overall ratios for changing the RPM/speed, see attachment.

Pulley > Belt
Sprocket > Chain

I think what your wanting to do is a pulley swap. (Belt)

No, I am now asking about the primary sprocket change, see post #5. I know the difference between a belt and a chain, please look at the attachment in previous post #8. You see it is a primary sprocket not a belt pulley.
