Default What do you have your Tire Pressure set at?

What does everyone set their tire pressure to when riding with no passenger on a FLHRC? I noticed the tires say 40 PSI when cold, but this seems a little high to me. Any insight?

I keep mine at 40 lbs each, front and rear. I've got almost 5,000 on these and I've been pleased with how they're wearing. Not changing anything yet. Check'em everytime I ride.

My wife weighs between 93 and 100 lbs wet. I'm at 190 lbs.

That's the funny thing, MOM states check the sidewall of your tire. I was simply inquiring, because I know tires usually state max pressure on the sidewall, and not optimal.

I run 38/40. My bike was delivered to me back in Dec with 32/32.. WAY too low. Did not like the feeling in the rear.. Keep them tight. CHECK THEM OFTEN.

I run the rear at 42 and the front at 38 both solo and with passenger. I'm still running the stock tires with 19,000 on them and still have plenty of tread with an even wear pattern across the rear tire and no cupping of the front tire.
