Odyssey batteries any good?
Anybody with a 103 softail got an Odyssey battery?
It's got 460 cranking amps for first five seconds and is rated for extreme weather. At least that's what they say.
I'm considering it because I've had cold start problems in cold weather and I live in friggin Florida!

What size engine do you have?
I never had this problem with my '06 Heritage with the 88 cc

Another way to go is to change the clutch ring gear and starter pinion gear to a lower gear ratio combination. Puts less stress on the starter motor and requires less amperage from the battery. Search JP Cycles and you'll find many manufacturers that produce these kits
