Default 2012 FLSTC won't start indicator lights flickering

After sitting all winter, connected to a battery tender, I tried starting my bike. All of the indicator lights and speedometer lights flicker and the bike won't start. Any suggestions to what the problem may be? Thanks in advance.

Bad Battery;
Battery boiled all of it's electrolyte out;
loose battery cable(s).

Critters chewed through some wires.

Critters were my first thought but I see no evidence of that. Battery seems fully charged and cables are tight. When I turn the key on everything starts flickering as if there is a short somewhere.

Put a volt meter on the battery.
Will it turn over at all?

How do you know that? You certainly can't tell by looking at it. Because it's been on a tender, doesn't mean it has been charging. It only takes one bad cell to kill a battery. I have a 2012 Heritage also and I have had to replace my battery already.

It's easy enough to change the battery in the FOB, but your bike's battery would be my first guess. Take it to any auto parts store for load testing after it has been on a tender all night.

Volt meter showing 12 volts. Won't turn over. Makes a sizzling sound. All was well when I put it away last fall

12.6 volts needed for it to be a good battery. Any below that and it's scrap.

Thanks. 12.1 is the best I got on the meter. Will try a new battery
