Default Put bikini bars on my Heritage.

I found some bikini beach bars on ebay, they are 1 1/4" and drilled for internal wiring. They fit fine with stock cables and brake line from my 2011 Heritage. I am going to remove the top brake cable clamp from the back of the trees just for peace of mind. I couldn't get the left side wires removed from the under the tank without out removing the tank. I was able to unplug the right side and realized they are not the typical kind I've been seeing. It didn't look like I was going to be able to disassemble the plugs so I ended up splicing the wires instead. I believe they were 36" wide 3" high and I don't remember the pullback. They are super comfortable and I think they look more classy than the apes I was originally going to use. I extended the wires about 6" and was able to hid the slack in the trees, probably could have gotten by with around 4".

That looks real good. I like bikini bars and am thinking about a wider pair than the ones I have. They fit the classic style.

Yeah I had it for a couple years and sold it. I did a bunch of work on it, different risers to sit more upright, single pipe exhaust, flush fit a CBR taillight with intergrated signals into the tail, and swapped the pegs for modified buell pegs for a little more leg room. It was a fun and comfortable bike for what it was. Oh and pretty damn fast with that busa motor, ran with anything to about 140 but then aerodynamics caught up and it would fall behind full fairing 1000's.

Looks good. I recently put these on, 3 inches wider than yours, and a little more pullback, love em.
