Default V-Twin Manufacturing Pogo Seat Kit

I have some questions about this kit. I know about the fit issues with the t-bar. Drill new holes in the bracket or replace it with another bracket? J&P sells a t-bar - will this one fit? The kit has 3 mounting points - the front mount uses the bolt for the gas tank and the 2 rear mounts use the holes that also mount the ground wires and bracket. My question is what about the ground wires? Do I keep the ground wires where they are and put the bracket and wires on top of the rear mounts or relocate the ground wires?

Just out of curiosity, have you tried calling customer service and see what they have to say?

No, not yet. I've seen other people on here that posted about the fit issues. The fit is close, but not exact. One guy posted he replaced some of the v-twin hardware, but he didn't say with what.
