I owned a 2012 slim and I tried a slim S this summer and well the price difference is in the 110ci motor compare to the 103 in the regular one and it's all blacked out so if you like blacked out and want the bigger motor it is well worth uit because it will cost you way more to transform a regular slim into an S model. As for the ride and everything else it's the same bike just more powerful.

factor in the 110 motor. ABS breaks. All black where everybody likes, than see what that comes to. It's a deal.

we have a slim with a 103, it RIPs.

here's the thought process: can you take a 103 well past the power level of a 110 for less than $4k?

I think the 117 kit is $2k at the dealer, and surpasses the 110 in every aspect.

I would try to find a 103 slim with "stage 1": pipes, air cleaner, tune & see if you can ride it.

My 2012 slim was satge 2 and compared to a S I still feel the S has a little more power everywhere
