Welcome to theworld ofSoftail. Ya got a great bike. Gonna be a bit of a change from a Sporty so beware of the floorboards. But its a better ride for two up and or longer distance cruising.
So what's the first thing your gonna change?

The first thing is to ride it with the windshield, bags and sissy bar off.
Then probably some different handlebars.

I will say this, I got all winter to figure out what to add. I can say that doing 80 with a windshield for the first time was kind of different.

Now that's a nice color. I thought it was black until I saw this, then looked again at your original posting and realized it really is green. Really different, I like it alot.

Yes, my good Dr. it's a clear-cut case of Softail-itis...having dealt with this affliction personally (the FXST strain) I can honestly say there is no known cure...but to alleviate some of the symptoms I personallyrecommend several thousand miles to be added to the odometer...treatment should begin immediately
