Least expensive way is with the "Bolts" that are available to lengthen your shocks, cost anywhere from 20.00 on E Bay to 120.00 from Ness or Burn Out Cycles.

Most expensive way is Air Shocks.

I went with Progressive 422 adjustable shocks, I believe that they are a better shock that stock so there is a ride improvement and they are adjustable in length from stock to 2 lower. I lowered my bike about 1.5 in and I feel with the Progressive it is still a better ride that at stock height wit the stock shocks.

No matter what system you use , you will loose travel by lowering it so you should try to improve the quality of the shock absorbers for that amount of travel or you will be bottoming out frequently

I used the burnout cycles kit. Seemed pretty easy to me. Took me all of about 45min. They are extentions to the stock bolts. Rides a little on the rough side, but i have mine slammed about 2 1/2 inches. Only cost me 100 bucks through J&P cycles. Theres a pic in my sig, but it's hard to get an idea how low it really is due to it being on it's kick stand in the pic. Im about to put my wheels on short like, and will get some good pics of it then and post em up.

Do you feel the Progressive Shocks really improve ride quality enough to justify the expense?
