Default salt Corrosion

Looked at my 2008 fat boy and was shocked to see white corrosion buliding up on my engine black coating.

I washed it of very quickly.
Is there a spray or some kind of dressing I can use to enhance the looks and give some protection

Best thing is to wait for the salt to be washed away. A couple good soaking days of rain do it around here.

If not, a GOOD wash after each ride, and pray you got all of it off.

The best I've used is Armor All, both on the black wrinkle and semi-gloss painted surfaces, such as the handlebar switch covers--just brush it on with a cut-down one-inch paintbrush, then wipe any excess off the chrome.
