How in the hell do you clean the black of the engine? Ya cant use a microfiber cuz it sticks to it. Any tricks? I've got some leaves/road crud on it and cant figure out how to get it off. Don't want to be too abrasive with it because I don't want to scratch it. HELP! Thanks ya'll

I use the S100 motorcycle wash. Obviously when the engine is cool, spray it on, let it soak and then I use some type of soft bristle brush on it very lightly. After it's clean and dry I either use the S100 engine detailer, or another product called "Pig Spit", which really brightens the black back to that new look, and doesn't burn off the first time you ride it. Good luck, ride safe!!
I use wizards bike wash. I used the s 100, but it has to many harsh chemicles for polished alum. The wizards has good power, with much less bad reaction.
s 100 engine brightener is great though, really turns your powdercoating black.
Just keep her clean. I wash my bike after every ride with nothing but soap and water. I never use the latest and greatest chemical. I had a roadking for almost 10 years and the bike looked like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Nothing but soap and water and also be sure to dry her off as to not let the water spots build up.
Just keep her clean huh? You ever had **** get on the powder coat? Maybe you have magic water where you live cuz soap and water just aint doin it for me. I'm too busy riding to clean it after ever ride. Like 8300 miles in the past 3 months. Sounds like a 10 year old showroom condition road king is screamin for a good long ride. Just messin.
+1 on the Pig Spit.
It works great on Harleys, but does even better on some of the metrics with heavy wrinkle paint.
Just spray it on then pop a beer ...... you don't need to do anything else 'cept maybe wipe off the overspray from your chrome.
