RE: Lo-jack for new cross bones?
I had LoJack installed on mine. A buddy of mine is a deputy and he told me that they respond to LoJack here in Raleigh on a regular basis. When he told me that he can locate my bike from his squad car in a matter of seconds, that was all I needed to hear. Plus I get a rate reduction from my insurance company. I have gap coverage as well, but I would rather get my bike back and catch the SoB who stole it rather than start all over with a new one.

RE: Lo-jack for new cross bones?
I have LoJack because it's my understanding if someone wants my bikeall it takes is afew guys,a truck and they simply pick it up and put it in the truck, takes all of 2 seconds. So pagers, alarms, etc. really wouldn't stop the thief. If my bike was stolen, insurance would not cover the extras I have installed, so I figured if I couldn't stop it being stolen maybeI could have the satisfaction of catching the SOB's who took it and get the bike back.

RE: Lo-jack for new cross bones?
Ihave anHP friend in the Burlington NC area, that told me he knows of a guy who had his bike jacked overnight while he was sleeping. The next morning when he realized it was missing and reported it stolen, law enforcement traced it to a chop shop in Fayetteville NC. Of course, they recovered more than just his bike. I have LO-JACK on my Fatboy, and glad I do. Atleast this gives me a chance to have my investment returned to me.
