Default Blasting Oil

When I first bought my 07 Fatboy, I kept it easy through the break in period and after that,,,well you know, "let's see what this 96ci will do.

Have you ever had oil blast out of the oil cap, all over the back of your right leg, down the pipes, all over the tire? Thought about this after reading the string on the kid with the Armor-All problem. Talk about slick tires, very dangerous.

Anyway, took it to the dealer, they had overfilled the oil which made it blow. Anyone else have this problem at their dealer?

Another problem I am having is on my other bikes, I run straight pipes. The new SE pipes on the Fatboy suck. Can't tell where I am on the rpms. Other than buying new pipes and all the other electrical stuff, what is a good shortcut to make this thing so I can hear it.

Thanks

Never had any problems with an Hd dealer ??
As for pipes and sound HD has to follow the law and EPA. Now after marketers get away with it for now but their day is coming. Nice set of stright pipes go good on a fatboy.

Yeah I had the leak problem too, but mine was self induced. Accidentally overfilled it, it seems like once the oil warms up it will leak past the filler cap and spray out. I just suctioned some out, and all was good after. Although, mine wasn't as bad, it just smeared down the tank some.
