ok i just had my clutch plates replaced about 400 miles ago and i noticed some squeeking when the clutch is engaged and stops when i pull the clutch in. it sounds like its coming from the rear pully. any clue what might cause that?

Drive belt too tight? That's the first thing I would look at.

Check alignment of rear pulley to the front pulley, make sure belt is running true on both

That would be my guess, check the sides of the belt to see if one side is polished more than the other. Then check the same side of the pulley to see if its polished up some too. That will confirmif the belt is tracking off center, and which way it needs to be corrected.

I just had that happen. They put the plastic belt guard on wrong and it slightly rubbed the pulley. It should be frame plastic belt guard and then chrome guard.
