Best LED Tail light option (keeping standard turn signals):
Best smoked laydown tail light solution (brightest, most visible, etc.)
Have an 06 Fatboy that I have replace the turn signals with clear lenses and Silverstar Ultra bulbs. Added the Kuryakyn smoked tail light and standard bulb but it is not anywhere visible enough during the day. Looking for additional alternatives before I bail and go back to a red lense with chrome trim.
I looked thru all the posts on this - lots of great information but figured I would do a poll to boil opinions down to a general concensus.
Thanks in advance for vote.

Kuryakyn LED Laydown Tail Light (not the Panacea, though) and the laydown license plate bracket from fellow Forum member HOGRIDA_06 ($20 shipped)
Ride Safe
oh, and the Kuryakyn replacement LED turn signals ( it just a bulb swapout and add the inlineload equalizer). Lights really pop!

I have the HD smoked led tail light. Its a little brighter than the Kuryakyn and looks nicer too. Of course thats just an opinion, but I think the Kuryakyn looks cheap. Kinda like a plastic cover that just pops on. I do have the Kuryakyn led blinker inserts and those are pretty nice.

I found this web site and this is where i got my leds for the car and the tail lamp. I have not changed the turn lamps because i use the Harley wiring that makes them half on and at night it gives a bigger wider look from behind.
