Bought an '06 Night Train with a Ness Big Sucker on it. Just has the flat cover that doesn't completely cover the filter and I don't want to run a rain sock. I would actually prefer a black air cleaner cover. Anyone know if a stock football cover will fit over it? I doubt it, but have to ask.

If anyone knows of a black cover that would fit the Big Sucker, let me know!

Stock should go right over it. I used a Ness K&N style filter when I got my Stage 1 kit put in. At the time HD was putting in the white/blue ring paper filter and I wanted a reusable one so I got the big sucker replacement element and bolted the stock cover right over it.
I've since switched out to the RSD open filter.

I'm running my stock NT cover on the Big Sucker...one of the many reasons I went with the Ness unit is that I wanted to keep the OEM cover...

 

Good to know. If any Night Train owners want to get rid of a stock air cleaner cover that will fit an '06, let me know! I will be browsing Craig's list and e-bay!
