I want to add a Ness 8" round air cleaner cover to my stock Deluxe. Is this a direct bolt-on? One site said I needed a different backing plate. Anybody?
I think you will need to add a stag 1 filter to get the round cover to work. I went with the Arlen Ness chrome backplate and filter. I went with the stag 1 and not the stage 2 because i have not done a cam or engine mod. I can add about a half dozen different covers.
