RE: Will Heritage Pipes fit on a Fatboy
I'll be damned if I can think of a reason why they wouldn't. Looking in the parts manual they are different. But the frames and enginesare identical so if you can get ALL the parts off the same years or generation bike it should be nothing more than a bolt on operation.

The 07 Fat Boy has the 200 tire so the swingarm is wider that the Heritage. Something to look at. But I also think that if you order the Vance and Hines Big Shot Longs for the Heritage the package says softail. Sorry if this doesn't help much, maybe you should go to Vance and Hines.com and see if their pipes are interchangeable between the two models. That might tell you more.

The genuine James gaskets did leak because the flanges bottomed out on the heads before sealing, and I could not use the acorn nuts and washers. So I replaced the James gaskets with Harley stock exhaust (not screaming eagle) gaskets and all is well now. You can reuse the stock flanges and nuts but IMHO the looks suck.

There will be room to add slip ons, I will be adding Rush slip ons soon. You will need to keep in mind that you will need slip ons for a Heritage, as the mufflers are mounted different than a Fatboy.
I forgot about the passenger footpeg on the right side, if you want to keep it in the same position you will need a 1 1/2" spacer. I used a drilled out 3/8" coupling nut, welded a washer to it, and painted it black.
