........but a badass springer it was. Big to do at my local dealer today with a bike show, dyno contest etc., and I entered my bike in the softail class. Beside my bike was a '09 CVO springer that the owner just bought last week. He ended up winning the softail class with my bike coming in second, and he also won best in show. It bothered me a bit that a bike bought from the showroom floor beat me out with all the hard work I've put into my bike, but the CVO springer is really badass right off the showroom floor . His paint scheme was the black with emerald ice flames; really nice and first I've seen.

 

That sucks brother! I almost just pulled the trigger on an 07 CVO Springer last week, but brought my Cross Bones home instead. Those CVO bikes are pretty sweet.

However, it doesn't really seem to be much of a contest when the stock bike wins. Besides, your bike is looking pretty solid.

Check his receipt I bet he paid for the trophy too! What the hell kind of contest is that anyhow? Have they not heard of a "stock" class and "Modified" class. I'll get off my soap box now!

My dealer runs 2 classes Stock big twin and Modified big twin, so things like that can't happen.They still win their class and best of show though.

 

LOL....What did you expect?? It was a local show at the dealer where this guy just purchased an 09 CVO Springer from a week ago!! He defintely paid for that trophy!!

 

"F" that guy! If you have a paper tag on your scooter, you should be OUTLAWED from participating in contests. He's probably a RUB who can't twist his own wrenches, and walked into the dealership and said to his trophy wife "ooohhhhh, that one's pretty, what do you think honey? Ok, Mr. Salesman- I'll take it."

 

that sucks, I did see a CVO Fat Bob today with that paint scheme and is is sweet. The best CVO factory paint scheme yet. However, they were definately kissing that guys hind parts for his 30K purchase. Anyway, better luck next time.

 

Sorry to hear bro, but IMO...YOUR BIKE IS SICK!!!!!!!!! You get my vote!
