I just purchased the Kingsize detachable windshield (57140-05) off ebay for my 05 Deluxe and am asking for any help in the installation. I am assuming it is pretty straight forward but any advice, close up pictures, or an installation guide would be wonderful. I searched the forum but didn't find anything specific. Thanks in advance.

 

Very easy when I put one on an 08 Deluxe. Having read a previous post about someone else having problems getting the allen bolts out I made sure I used a hand impact on mine. After "breaking" them they came out easy.

I assume you'll get instructions with your shield. As is typical, HD combines instructions for different year bikes in the same paper. You have to be careful you're following the right one.
