Default Beach Bars & Road King Nacelle on Fatboy?

I want to ditch the standard bars on my 1990 Fatboy for a pair of 36" beach bars. Also I want to fit an aluminium nacelle similar to the Road King. I've read in various catalogues and sites that the bars won't fit with the nacelle.
Does anyone have any answers for this as it's a combination I really like the look of. If it is possible, can I get away with not using the horrible bar clamp cover on the nacelle and use a more standard clamp?

It will work with any bars that are still 1" at the clamps like WildOnes ect (1'1/4 and necked down to 1" athe clamps and grips) Otherwise you can make it work by modifying the clamp cover

The reason they "say" they won't work with the nachelle in because of the handlebar/riser cover that fits on top of the nachelle. It is designed to fit over the stock clamps and bars. If you didn't run that cover, I believe there is no problem.

Thanks for the info on fitting the bars and nacelle!

Greenthumb, what turn signals have you used on your bike?

Does anyone know a good dealer who ships to the UK?

Those are the stock turn signals relocated to the forks,an easy job that's been covered many times in here.WARG did a good write up on it.Search his posts, you can probably find it.
