Default Finally went 2 up on the Rock (w/trick seat)

It was GREAT!! I can't believe I was nervous about it. My girl is of good size (5'9 160+) I'm 6'2, 230#. Really steady ride. She was comfortable the whole time. When I'm blazing along and hit a bump on the road my butt flies off the seat. Didn't really happen with us both riding.

I still kinda took it easy, as it started to rain while we were out riding, but I almost can't wait to give it another go!

When I got my bike a 20 mile ride seemed long for us. That was 2 years ago. This past weekend we did 700 miles on it and still had more in us. Just take is slow and work it up to the longer rides. It will be worth it. My next goal is to go a thousand miles and stay gone for a week.

Yeah me too, I put the Rocker seat on my Rocker C when I first got it.
I wanted to break her in alone, this weekend I put the trick seat on, (make sure you cover your fender with a towel when you change seats).

The Reg. rocker seat is more comfortable for sure. it is lower and you sit in the bike more but I was surprised how the 2 up worked I am 5'8" and200lbs my woman is 5'1" 120 lbs. she said it was more comfortable than my heritage seat. She & I liked the closeness and my back was warm. Oh yeah the added bonus of the “you know what’s in the back!!!!!"

I don't think its a whole lot different than riding two up on say a sportster without a sissy bar. I still have the stock trick seat on mine, but have only gone two up a couple of times. I am 6'0 240 and my girl is 5'6 115 ish and we had no probs. Each time has generally just been when she didn't feel like taking her bike and we were just going on a short trip like out to dinner. Given a choice I won't be carrying a passenger much, but its nice to be able to in a pinch. If we know we are going to need to ride two-up for a ways though we will take her bike so she can lean back and relax more.

The old lady and I had no problems either, but I switched to the Rocker seat and passenger setup and it was a lot more comfortable. I'm selling my Rocker C Trick seat on ebay.

My wife loves the trick seat. We used to ride a '95 Heritage and the seat was nice and big but the bike had so much vibration it was not a fun ride. We did a 3 hour trip on the Rocker and all she could say was how nice and smooth it was.
