Default Do your xbones a favor!!!!!

Just picked up a 09 xbones (denim Black) last week, and have to say this bike is bad M@#$%^& F%$@!#, but could not understand why she felt a little under powered, well I just put a set of V&H Short Shots (Staggered Black), fuel pack and Arlene Ness Stage 1 and she came to life, if you have or plan on purchasing a xbones do not even leave the dealer without throwing a set of pipes, fuel manager, and high flow air filter on her , you will be disapointed if you dont, It would be great to here about any upgrades done to your Xbones so I can get some good ideas, ride safe, and stay out of jersey you`ll live longer!!!!!!!

Will add pics later!!!

The improvement due to good exhaust, high flow air cleaner and proper fuel management system is great! Certainly worth the effort to install and cost to buy!

I ride an '05 Springer Classic. Another suggestion for the xbones, as well as any springer, is a Progressive front shock upgrade. It smooths out the ride and cuts down on the headlight shimmy. Well worth the money in my opinion.......

I didn't put my pipes, AC, and Stage 1 until I had 5000k on er', but the difference was night and day. It was surprising how much the stock AC and pipes choke the engine. It's definitely worth the money.

What's the problem with New Jersey? I live here and been riding here for years and never had any problems, maybe you don't know how to ride, so what state are you from where riding is so SAFE ? Oh and good luck with your new ride.
