I'm looking at getting a set of ape hangers for my 05 deluxe. Does anyone have any recommendations or pictures

 

Check the Wild1's if you want to kep your existent risers (1") if you're up for putting a little extra cash and want some real cool thicker apes, check out www.carlinidesign.com they have some awesome apes and thay carry the increased diameter risers (1.25" and 1.5"), good luck.

I second that. Carlini makes a good product. I have their 16" tall 1.5" diameter gangster apes and couldn't be happier. They look perfect for my bike. I'll bet they'd look pretty sweet on yours, too.

The Carlini Gangster apes is where its at as far as style. I recently installed the Wild1 Chubby bars on mine, and I do love em, but those Carlinis are badass.

 

I have LA Choppers 20's on a 4" riser - love 'em - my advice is do it -

 

hers a pic with my apes, i made em myself 20" and uses no riser and I hid all the cables

Dude, what kinda from wheel is that and what size? Wanna go bigger than stock with around stock width, but don't want to go 21

 

That's a 21 inch front wheel. Bigger then stock 18 inch hard too find white walls. 19 i don't now.
