Default Mean City Rocker seat - any experience

Guys, Did any Rocker owner modify his seat with Mean City Cycles ? I am looking for a MUCH comfortable seat than the stock and need your experience & input. I don't want to go ahead without guidance as It will cost me a lot of shipment fees as I live in Egypt. I want to be sure of my choice. Any pictures ?

I am in the process of sending my Rocker seat to Mean City. Rocker Mike has also had his seat redone by Mean City

Mean City did the memory foam modification to my standard Rocker seat. They did an outstanding job. I wanted to go back and down. They were unable to move me back, but they got me down about 1 - maybe 1.5 inches.

The angle of the seat and the back support is much better. Feel more like you are sitting in the seat vice on it. I would say it was well worth the money.

I had some pics but can't find them.

I don't know if they can do anything with the Rocker C trick seat.

From your opinions, would I do the modifications with Mean City or go with a new seat from Danny Gray ? The price will be almost the same for me as I will ship twice to Mean City !

IMO - For the $$$, by far the best way to go is simply to get a standard Rocker seat and bolt it on. It takes 5 minutes to change it over. The FXCW seat brings you furthur back plus noticably lower. It also gives much better back support and closes the infamous gap. I bought mine on E-bay for $ 120 with the bracket. I then bought the side cover plates at the dealer and bolted it on. I love it. After riding for most of the season I realized I had only used the flip out seat one time so it was an easy call. Now - if the Rocker was my only bike - the flip out seat would have stayed but I have a Road King for longer or two up rides.

OK, I found a pic. Notice how low it sits and how the back of the seat was re-padded to give it some lower back support and keep you from moving in the seat. I think I paid about $100 - well worth the money.

The guys at Mean City are awesome.
