Heritage with nine spoke wheels
I'm thinking of replacing the standard wheels on my 2007 Heritage with a pair of chrome nine spoke wheels. My thinking is, as well as looking good, they will take tubeless tyres and be easier to clean.
I do a lot of touring miles (22,000 so far in 15 months) and hopefully will do many more next year. Would appreciate any thoughts / views on the choice of wheels?

I think you will lose the look of the heritaige if you go with a 9 spoke rim . that is more for a fat boy. You can change your brake pads to lydall racing plus pads they give you better stopping and almost no brake dust and you can put 50 spoke fat daddy rims or 52 spoke dna mammoths on it and it will still have a spoked rim but look custom also both those spoked rims take tubeless tires.the spokes are sealed.

Personal taste only, I think the spokes are right on the Heritage for the semi-nostalgic look. But it is your bike, so do what you want with it. If you like it, who cares what others think? Some people don't like what I did with my Springer, either, but I am the one paying for it and riding it.
