Deluxe Headlight Adjustment

To align the headlight properly you need a blank wall that's 25 feet away.
Draw a line that's 35" high and while your sitting on the bike stand it up and adjust the headlight bucket so that the high beam hits evenly above and below the line directly in front of the bike.
I put some duct tape on the back wall of the local shopping mall and a small spot of paint on the ground 25 feet away.
No one goes back there anymore except for semi's unloading and the local police for their coffee breaks. So its deserted most of the time and at night its not very well lit so its easy to see the light pattern on the dull yellow brick wall.

i just put a box wrench on the bolt and push or pull the wrench and the headlamp then ride and see if the stop sign glows and how the road looks. I have a euro lamp (bosch 4h headlamp) that shines all the light in a wide pattern and it is easy to see the top as it is flat. shines like a half moon
