I just did this last night.
You need a hex key, I think they call for a 5/32" ball end hex.
Insert the hex key into the hole at the top of the light, you have to kind of work it past the weather seal material. Turning in (tightening) raises the headlight.
The owners manual goes through the procedure in the maintenance section.
