Default 2019 Road Glide Headlight Adjustment

First time taking the 19 out for a night time ride and noticed the headlight is adjusted where you start out driving the light around 40 mph. Anything faster and I feel there is not enough time to adjust direction or speed if something were in the road. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue or is this what the factory wants (short range headlight). Curious what others have done before I adjust light.

Thanks

Adjust the headlight. Counterclockwise turns brings the headlight up. I have yet to see a HD come from the factory with the headlights set correctly.

Had to adjust mine on my ‘16. Same deal, you could outride the light at town speeds and couldn’t really see ****.

Good to know. I have an upcoming road trip on my new Road Glide and might find myself riding in the dark. I’ll have to check mine out before I leave.

just in case anyone needs the procedure. quick note, item 4 in the 2nd picture says 'low beam bulb centerline'. that is for led bulbs. if you don't have an led bulb, then you would measure to the high beam bulb centerline.

if you look up under your fairing, you'll see the mount that supports the fairing to the frame. in the bottom of the bracket is a hole, it's in that hole.
