Default You can lower a Softail but can you raise?

I know there are lowering kits out there but are there kits to RAISE the front end? I don't want to change the rake but would be interested in having the forks extended to make the front end raised. Or would I just raise the frame in sort of way?

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to do that.

You can put a pair of longer tubes on there, but why?
Its going to change the geometry and significantly effect the bikes handling if you go more than an inch or two over stock without changing the rake.

If you lower just the rear end, your front will "appear" raised...

Still, I'm with everyone else...WHY would you want to raise the bike? It's not like they're made for off-roading fun. lol.

I'm going to make an assumption (laughter)...and say that you are going for a kind of "look". And, what I'm thinking is that the "look" you are going for could be accomplished by doing a tank lift. That will make your front end appear taller as well. So, do that and lower the rear, and your front end will be waving in the breeze!

Lifting the bike will make it turn quicker but not as stable. The higher center of gravity is just no good.

way back when i had all my hair it was a style to go with 4" over stock fork tubes . it gave the bike a certain look , but i always thought it was kind of 'cheap chopper' , meaning you wanted the raked front end look , but couldn't afford to . 2" over looked fine though

these were "dynas" since it was pre-softail
