So I'm running 18" Nash Gimps and right now I just have a stock HD mirror upside down to make the bike halfway legal. Problem is the mirror basically just looks right at my left shoulder and I have to move my head or my arm to see anything.
Ideally I would like to find just a small round mirror that doesn't hang down as far... anyone have any suggestions for these, or any other mirrors that you have had luck w/ on a similar set up?
I have always liked these cheap round ones. They never come loose like some of the other high priced ones can and I can see out great. JP and other places sell them. They also sell some that clamp on the bars instead of the standard mount point. I ran one of those on my old chopper and loved the look. Here are pics of both. I think they cost maybe 10 bucks. I have also seen them in black.
If you loosen your hand controls and and roll them forward just a little bit it will drastically change the angle of your mirrors. Ive got 18s with the stock mirrors and they are perfect now ...
Not sure of the exact brand of mirror that I'm running, if you like it let me know and i will dig through my receipts. Looks cool but really serves no purpose other than keeping the cops off me. Pretty sure i ordered it through JPCycles
